嗜银谷物病中载脂蛋白 E 等位基因频率

摘要

       The apolipoprotein E (ApoE) genotype was analyzed in 35 subjects with argyrophilic cereal disease (AgD). Neuropathologically, all cases were characterized by a large number of silver-philic particles in the hippocampus and entorhinal or parahippocampal cortex. We found that the ApoE ɛ4 allele frequency in AgD patients is 0.007, which is significantly different from the ɛ4 allele frequency reported in age-matched Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients (0.24), but it is significantly different from the age-matched control ( 0.09) Different. We conclude that the ApoE ɛ4 allele does not constitute a risk factor for the development of AgD. Our findings further indicate that AgD is a progressive disease, which is distinguished from AD by morphological and genetic criteria.
