人类活动对环境抗性的影响在许多研究中都有记载,但是,在受人类影响的环境中观察到的抗生素耐药性的增加是否仅仅是具有耐药性的粪便微生物污染的结果,还是由土著环境生物引起的,仍然是一个有争议的问题。在这里,为了确定人类影响是如何形成环境抗性的,我们对贯穿人类活动梯度的汉江沿岸浮游微生物群落的微生物组、抗性和活动性进行了研究。
The impact of human activities on the environmental resistome has been documented in many studies, but there remains the controversial question of whether the increased antibiotic resistance observed in anthropogenically impacted environments is just a result of contamination by resistant fecal microbes or is mediated by indigenous environmental organisms. Here, to determine exactly how anthropogenic influences shape the environmental resistome, we resolved the microbiome, resistome, and mobilome of the planktonic microbial communities along a single river, theHan, which spans a gradient of human activities.
