The comprehensive accumulation of antibiotics, heavy metals, and antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB)/antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in vegetables has become a new threat to human health. This is the first study to investigate the feasibility of using aluminum sulfate modified calcined eggshells as a new type of agricultural waste to prevent the transfer of mixed pollutants to sweet peppers (Capsicum annuum L.). In this work, the calcined eggshell improver significantly reduced the accumulation of mixed pollutants in sweet peppers, enhanced the dissipation of soil tetracycline, sulfadiazine, roxithromycin and chloramphenicol, and reduced the water-soluble part of antibiotics. , And reduced the diversity of ARB/ARGs in vegetables.
